'The French artist, Hélène Delprat was commissioned to produce this print as part of the 'Colour Since Matisse' exhibition that was on show at the RSA in Edinburgh. She arrived at Peacock with Claude Viallet and I have chosen it because it marked the beginning of what was to become an international reputation for Fine Art publication at Peacock. While I worked with her on the separations and platemaking, she produced an additional 7 relief prints over a period of two days while the plates were being etched. Truly inspirational - I can still smell the Gauloise in the workshop.'
