Currently a contemporary art practice student who is drawn to visual arts. Lisa prefers to spend her time either in the workshop or darkroom at Grays school of art. She also loves to try different printing techniques and this is where she says Peacock comes in handy: "I love the atmosphere there and feel very welcome. I am most grateful for everyone’s expertise".
Her motto of the moment is ‘Making up for lost time‘. After spending many years being a full-time mum, she's now following her own passions, being able to create new and exciting pieces of art that hopefully inspire others.
She tries to tackle issues such as body positivity and feminism. Her work Includes 50 screen prints of various people who kindly volunteered for the task. The aim of these was "to show how we are all different and that’s ok".
Lisa says she's looking forward to the future, and her aim is to finish her degree and use her skills to help others.
