Celebrating 50 years of Peacock this is a reproduction of the original artwork design for The Sex Pistols by Jamie Reid. Originally made by Jamie in Peacock on a visit to the studio in the 1970's this image was the first ever image produced by Jamie for the band. It was never used as a final poster but still remains an important part of their history. The title comes from the fact that at that point they were called "Cutie Jones and his Sex Pistols", the 'Cutie Jones' being founding member Steve Jones whose signature adorns this edition of the print.
Discussions were made with Jamie about the editioning of this print in 2023 and he was to be an integral part of the process but sadly Jamie passed away the same year. John Marchant Gallery who are responsible for Jamie Reid's archive then sanctioned the finished edition.
