Lennox Dunbar RSA is a graduate of Gray’s School of Art and is Emeritus Professor of Fine Art at Gray’s. He was the etching technician at Peacock. His mixed media paintings and prints explore the notion of ‘Place’.

"The Hinterland folio presents eleven signed artists' prints, mixing traditional printmaking techniques with innovative digital print technology. All works are printed on 56 x 76 cm 300gsm Somerset or Velin Arches, in a folio edition of 16.
The Hinterland folio is curated by Jon Pengelly and published by Grays School of Art in collaboration with Peacock Visual Arts and with support from The Scottish Cultural Resources Access Network.
The artists' Ruth Beardsworth, Robbie Bushe, Joyce Cairns, Lennox Dunbar, Neil Gall, Andy Kennedy, Richard Mutch, Jon Pengelly, Claire Roberts, Cameron Ross and Allan Watson have each developed in the Hinterland print folio a very personal response, evoking the nature, character and particular environment of the North East of Scotland."
