Peacock workshop member Wojtek Kibler was born 1984 in Poland, he graduated in 2010 with MFA in Painting and Drawing Faculty from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Poland. Wojtek worked mostly with oil colours until a fire in his studio in 2013 where he lost all of the paintings made up for an upcoming exhibition. The main subject of that period was surreal vision of the Christopher Columbus exploration and colonisation era of the Americas. After that unfortunate event he gave up making art for the next 8 years. At the moment he works with water-based mediums such as gouache and watercolour as well as printmaking using the lithography technique, mainly in portraiture area.
