Essays on Salt–The First Harvest, examines salt’s role in labour, trade, food preservation, ritual and power. The publication compiles the voices of fourteen contributors and their reflections on salt and its narratives. This text reflect on the complexities of food systems and human relationships, using salt as both material and metaphor.
