In commemoration of our Frances Walker exhibition at Drum Castle we have, in collaboration with Frances, produced this beautiful 5 colour screen-printed poster.
The print uses an image that has been subject of three editioned and sold-out prints by Peacock. Depicting the shoreline at Achmelvich on the West Coast of Scotland. It was first realised as a screen-print back in 1981 entitled 'Sand and Rocks, Achmelvich". The second iteration was an etching 'Achmelvich Landscape' in 2006 and the third an etching with chine-collé in 2012.
Frances worked closely with our printmaker James Vass to create these 5 colours screen-print and has kindly signed and dated all 100 in this edition.
