"In June 2004 I had a week’s Residency at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig the Gaelic College on the Sleat Peninsula, Isle of Skye. 10 years later in June 2014 I had another brief sojourn in the flat at the top of the college tower overlooking the everchanging drama of the Sound of Sleat although I had made many oils and watercolours relating to the time I spent above the Sound of Sleat I had never made any prints so decided to do so, this is one of two screenprints that were the results."
